after a very long hiatus, i thought the new year was the perfect time to bring back book club! so here it is, and here are a few of our favourites from the past few months! would love to hear what you are reading with your little ones (and on your own!) these days ๐ happy hippo, angry duck by sandra boynton finally back with another edition of book club! there are a lot more where this came from — i promise i won’t make you wait so long next time.
the very last pinksugarland book club post. so bittersweet.
i’ve been slacking a bit on the book club posts this year — i promise there’s a lot more where this came from ๐
just a few of our favourites from our latest library haul! a few new reads that showed up under our tree over the holidays! any great new reads in your homes post holiday season? i always love to hear your recommendations! a few holiday picks! not all that helpful three days before christmas, but i’m going with it anyways. . . maybe someone still needs a stocking stuffer? happy holidays! just a handful of the awesome new books lila has recently added to her collection! happy reading!
sharing a few more of our favourite pop up books this week (and yes, my “schedule” is all mixed up around these parts right now — better late than never, right?!)
a few things of note about this weeks’ selections: i had forgotten about i like you until i heard it read as part of a wedding ceremony i photographed earlier this month. we pulled it out again this week ๐ i cried multiple times while reading edward tulane with lila. it is far and above my favourite novel we’ve read together. i can’t recommend it enough. and oscar cannot get enough of grabbing at the touch & feel series right now. have a great weekend ๐
this one is coming a few days late thanks to our weekend in the mountains, but better late than never ๐
crazy to believe it’s already been six weeks since we started!
sharing a few of the books that cole chose to bring on our summer holiday today. these five seem to make it into the rotation every single week so i think it’s safe to say they are solid picks for the two and a half year old set ๐ |
