an old favourite from my own childhood has a become a go to book for miss li in recent days. it’s been pretty incredible watching her learn to read over the last couple of months and this is one of a handful that she has pretty much down, cover to cover.

forgive me for being a gushing momma, i’m pretty darn proud of the wee girl 😉

she has this thing about holding the hand of pretty much every mannequin we walk by at the mall. such a funny little thing — i love every last quirky little bit of her.

back home after a pretty amazing little family vacation. in a nutshell: the mountains, the cabin, bbqs, mosquitoes, snuggles, fishing, friends, swimming, big trees, glaciers, hoodoos, camping, more friends, marshmallows, first tooth, thunder, lightning, dinosaurs. it’s been a good week 🙂
