after a visit to the doctor today (lila’s elbow is unfortunately prone to dislocating quite easily), we went for a little treat to celebrate her bravery 🙂
(as bittersweet as her growing older is, i am really looking forward to her outgrowing this tendency — it’s so hard on my heart to see her in pain. it’s not something i talk about often, but i am so very grateful to have two healthy children — i can’t even begin to imagine how difficult the alternative would be…)
michelle - one of the bravest little girls i know!!
Nina - Poor Lila and Mama. Hopefully she grows out of it soon!
Olga - Poor little girl((( But she is so brave!!! Everything will be all right! Such a beautiful girl must be healthy))
Sorry for my english 🙂
From Russia with love
Coryann - I hope this phase will pass quickly for you both and I love her bright shoelaces!
Brandi - so glad she’s doing better! A’s elbow has done that as well to the point of rushing to the ER. Seeing and hearing your babies in pain is awful 🙁
andrea - so awful. this is the third time we’ve had to have a doctor pop it back into joint. the worst was last summer in the domincan… now that was an adventure…
brooke - 🙁 poor sweets. so happy she is doing better. i totally agree on the healthy kid note, its hard to watch them grow so quickly…but incredible at the same time. xo.
jude - she always reminds me so much of my Lola. bless her heart.
Rachel Leonard - Your sweet little girl has THE BEST style (which I think also means you have brilliant taste). I know you often induldge us with the get dressed category, but you must tell me where you got those abordable boots of hers! Keep up the great work 🙂
andrea - of course!! i’m always happy to share 🙂 these are from the boys section at gap, with laces from crewcuts and h&m!
Christine - oh, poor little girl (and mom and dad). Glad to hear she’s doing better.
brandy - My little one has the same issue. We fortunately had a friendly ER doc willing to teach me how to pop in it myself. It has saved numerous trips and probably hundreds of dollars for a simple little thing. 🙂
